One question of late that has continued to pop up is people seeking advice on post workout sleeping issues so below are a couple of suggestions from our experts.

  •  Do NOT consume any caffeine based products before your session. I suggest at least 3-4 hours before.
  •  Cortisol (natural based steroid hormone) AKA the ‘stress hormone’ can sometimes negatively effect sleep. This hormone can be ‘blunted’ by staying well hydrated
  • Take a slightly longer hot bath/shower than usual before you head to bed
  • Try drinking chamomile tea before bed
